Welcome to Lady Layre, a small magical shop filled with handmade goods, local artisan work, ritual tools, and spiritually sensitive items. These policies help us protect our vendors, maintain the energetic integrity of our offerings, and keep the shop running smoothly.

🔮 Refund Policy for Vendor Items

Items sold on consignment at Lady Layre may be returned only if the vendor has not yet been paid out for that sale.
Vendor payouts are generally processed on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, but may vary depending on shop needs, scheduling, or holidays. (Because sometimes the universe — and my bandwidth — says “not today.”)

Once a vendor has been paid for an item, the sale becomes final and cannot be refunded.

If the vendor has not yet been paid, customers may receive:

• A refund minus a 13% processing/restocking fee, or

• Store credit for the full amount

Lady Layre reserves the sole discretion to approve or deny a return, even if all criteria appear to be met.
This protects the integrity of handmade, fragile, one-of-a-kind, and energetically sensitive items — and also stops anyone from trying to return a stone three weeks later because Mercury retrograded wrong and suddenly “the vibes changed.”

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, energetic integrity, and the protection of handmade goods, the following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

• Anointing oils, roll-ons, and any topical product

• Spell kits, ritual kits, herbs, powders, or ingredients

• Incense, resins, aromatics, and loose botanicals

• Bath products, salts, teas, or items meant for soaking

• Candles that have been lit, burned, dressed, or altered

• Wet specimens, bones, taxidermy items, and preservation materials

• Custom, commissioned, or personalized items

General Rule

If an item can be opened, used, applied, burned, consumed, worn, or spiritually altered in any way, it is final sale.
Even if you “just opened it to smell it,” “only used one pinch,” or “charged it under the full moon and now it feels different.”

Resellable Condition

Lady Layre reserves the right to determine whether any item is in resellable condition, even if it appears unused.
This prevents situations like someone lightly dressing a candle, deciding they didn’t like the intention after all, and trying to return it because “my spirit guide said no.”

♻️ Exchanges

Lady Layre does not offer exchanges unless explicitly approved at our discretion.
This is not a Build-a-Bear workshop for crystals — stones have personalities, not a generous return policy.

🛠️ Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your items before leaving the shop.
Damage discovered after purchase is not eligible for refund or exchange unless there is a clear manufacturing defect.

Handmade items and natural stones have variations, quirks, and character — these are features, not flaws. Your crystal isn’t “chipped,” she simply has history.

✨ Custom & Special Orders

Custom, commissioned, or personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned, canceled, or refunded once work has begun.
When we start making magical things just for you, they’re yours — energetically and financially.

🎁 Gift Cards

Gift cards are final sale, non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
If you lose it, please ask the universe for guidance — unfortunately, I can’t replace lost or stolen cards.

📦 Shipping

Once a package leaves Lady Layre, responsibility transfers to the carrier.
Lost, stolen, or delayed packages must be handled through USPS/UPS/etc.
(When you re-order feel free to also purchase a Return to Sender candle)

🧿 Energetically Altered Items

Any item that has been spiritually used, charged, cleansed, dressed, carried, or placed on an altar in any way is final sale.
Once your energy touches it, it’s yours — and the item knows it.

🖤 Right to Refuse Service

Lady Layre reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a transaction if a situation compromises the safety, comfort, or energetic integrity of the shop. If you are under the influence you will also be asked to leave. This is a SOBER shop, don't come in here fucked up & expect service. 
This includes behavior, vibes, or anything else that makes the spirits across the street go, “Ummm… no.”
