Welcome to Lady Layre, a small magical shop filled with handmade goods, local artisan work, ritual tools, and thoughtfully selected items. These policies help protect our vendors, maintain the integrity of our offerings, and keep the shop running smoothly.

Workshop Minimum Attendance Policy
To ensure a quality experience, each Lady Layre workshop requires a minimum of 3 registered participants.
If fewer than 3 participants are registered by 12:00 PM (noon) the day before the workshop, the event may be canceled or rescheduled.
If this occurs, all registered attendees will be notified and may choose:

A full refund, or
-
Store credit, or
-
Transfer to the rescheduled date (when applicable)
Lady Layre reserves the right to approve or deny exceptions to this policy. This helps balance time, energy, supply costs, and the sustainability of operating as a one-person shop.

Refund Policy for Vendor Items
Items sold on consignment at Lady Layre may be returned only if the vendor has not yet been paid out for that sale.
Vendor payouts are typically processed on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, but may vary based on shop operations, scheduling, or holidays.
Once a vendor has been paid for an item, the sale is considered final and is not eligible for return or refund.
If the vendor has not yet been paid, customers may choose:

A refund minus a 13% processing/restocking fee, or
-
Store credit for the full purchase amount
Lady Layre reserves the right to approve or deny any return at its discretion.
This policy helps protect the integrity of handmade, fragile, and one-of-a-kind items.

Non-Returnable Items
For safety, hygiene, and the protection of handmade goods, the following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

Anointing oils, roll-ons, and other topical products

Spell kits, ritual kits, herbs, powders, and ingredients

Incense, resins, aromatics, and loose botanicals

Bath products, salts, teas, or items intended for soaking

Candles that have been lit, burned, dressed, or altered

Wet specimens, bones, taxidermy items, and preservation materials
-
Custom, commissioned, or personalized items
-
These items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

General Rule
If an item has been opened, used, applied, burned, consumed, worn, or altered in any way, it is considered final sale.
Resellable Condition
Lady Layre reserves the right to determine whether any item is in resellable condition, even if it appears unused.
Items that have been altered, energetically worked with, or otherwise changed in any way are not considered resellable.
Exchanges
Lady Layre does not offer exchanges unless explicitly approved at our discretion.

Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your items before leaving the shop.
Damage discovered after purchase is not eligible for refund or exchange unless there is a clear manufacturing defect.
Handmade items and natural stones may have variations, irregularities, or inclusions—these are natural characteristics, not defects.

Custom & Special Orders
Custom, commissioned, or personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned, canceled, or refunded once work has begun.​

Gift Cards
Gift cards are final sale, non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Shipping
Once a package leaves Lady Layre, responsibility transfers to the carrier.
Lost, stolen, or delayed packages must be handled through the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.).

Energetically Altered Items
Any item that has been spiritually used, charged, cleansed, dressed, carried, or placed on an altar is considered final sale.
Right to Refuse Service
Lady Layre reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a transaction at its discretion if a situation compromises the safety, comfort, or integrity of the shop.
Lady Layre is a sober space. Customers who are under the influence or behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner will be asked to leave.

Tarot Reading Policies
Tarot readings at Lady Layre are intended to offer insight, reflection, and guidance—not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Appointments are scheduled for a set time with limited flexibility. Occasionally, sessions may run slightly behind due to shop flow; your full reading time will be honored as much as possible within the schedule.
For walk-in readings, the shop remains open during your session. As Lady Layre is a one-person shop, readings may be briefly paused if a customer enters and needs assistance.
Readings are non-refundable. Payment secures your session time, not specific outcomes or interpretations.
No refunds will be issued based on:

dissatisfaction with the message

interpretations that do not immediately resonate
-
difficulty connecting with the reading
-
unexpected or challenging information
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session. No-shows forfeit the appointment.

Photography & Filming in the Shop
Can I take photos or videos in the shop?
Yes. You’re welcome to take photos of the shop, your purchases, and anything that inspires you. Please be mindful of others and avoid photographing or filming customers without their consent.
